Horizon Health Network is one of two regional health authorities in New Brunswick (the other being Vitalité Health Network). Horizon Health Network is responsible for the delivery of health care in the southern part of New Brunswick, serving a large portion of the province's population. Horizon Health Network's mission is to improve the health and well-being of New Brunswickers by providing quality, accessible, patient-centered care.
Medical facilities and care centers are spread across various cities and communities across the province. The network serves the cities of Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John and several other communities, among others. Horizon Health Network provides a full range of health services, including hospital care, primary care, emergency services, specialty care, outpatient care, mental health services, rehabilitation services and more. They cover virtually every aspect of healthcare, from diagnosis to rehabilitation.
The network operates various health facilities (several hospitals, community care centers, clinics and other health care facilities) whose size and medical specialties allow complete coverage of the health needs of the population.
