Network Design Engineer

Position Title: Network Design Engineer

Location: Regina, SK

Overview:

Charter is currently seeking one (1) experienced Network Design Engineer to join our team starting May 2025. The role requires strong experience designing and developing the enterprise Azure IT Environment. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience configuring the network components (i.e., Azure VNet, Azure Firewall) and securing connectivity to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow between on-premises resources and the Azure cloud environment. Previous experience in VNet setup and configuration, firewall configuration, and secure network communications is required. Location: Regina, SK (Remote). Term: One (1) year. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong experience designing and developing the enterprise Azure IT Environment.
• 6+ years of experience configuring the network components (i.e., Azure VNets, Azure Firewall) and securing connectivity to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow between on-premises resources and the Azure cloud environment.
• Experience in VNet setup and configuration, firewall configuration, secure network communications is required.
• Active industry certifications, i.e., Azure Certifications related to Virtual Networks is an asset.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
