Our Supply Chain team is undergoing significant change in our new Oracle environment! WHAT YOU WILL DO

Under the supervision of the General Manager, Supply Chain, you will work closely with the entire team, learning the fundamentals of purchasing and contracts, articulating operational needs into an ERP environment and providing support for capital projects and RFPs within an airport environment. This team proves time and time again how hard work pays off, and like the rest of our people, they know how to have fun!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for the processing and issuance of purchase orders for a wide range of goods and services for the ongoing 24/7/365 operation of the airport.
  • Supporting the creation and utilization of reports, business cases and other literature to support department operations as required.
  • Responsible for all Inventory matters relating to set up of new items and maintenance of existing items in Oracle related to Pricing, Lead Time, and Min-Max to ensure ample inventory is available at all times.
  • Ensures concise, clear and timely communication of all matters to the appropriate personnel as required.
  • Participate in Annual Inventory counts as required.
  • Perform expediting duties as required for all Purchase Orders and Contracts as required.
  • Support the needs assessment and process development projects for Oracle
  • Assist with setting up negotiations and SQM modules
  • Support the requisition to purchase order process and ensure service level agreements and compliance are achieved.
  • Providing administrative support to the Supply Chain team as required.
  • Template Creation of Contract and other standard documents as required
  • Support implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Support end-to-end RF(x) processes
  • Support the acquisition of services efficiently and transparently
  • Provide support on supplier contracts, performance, and compliance with service agreements as needed/directed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High level of accuracy and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a high functioning team and communicate effectively with others
  • Knowledge of contract software
  • Academic background in Supply Chain or Business is required; Preference will be given to third- and fourth-year students

WHAT ELSE?

  • To qualify as a co-op or internship student, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary program where a work term is a formal requirement of the program and be able to provide documentation to that effect.
  • Please attach a copy of your transcript to your application.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a restricted area identification card (RAIC).
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work model with a combination of in-office and remote work.
