Your Opportunity
Our Edmonton office has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Internship. This position will be situated within our Functional Services Team and have exposure and involvement in supporting our corporate priorities including our Corporate Real Estate team. This opportunity is a summer contract position located in our Edmonton, Alberta, office.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist in the activities related to the day-to-day operations of the corporate real estate team including portfolio management, lease agreement review, and project management
Assist in the preparation and editing of written documents, including reports, presentations, and correspondence
Support front end activities on Oracle cloud procurement project
Support the integration of the real estate and lease information from acquisition of new firms.
Perform data entry tasks to update databases and spreadsheets with new information as required
Conduct research on industry trends or specific topics as directed by supervisors to aid in decision-making processes
Maintain and update process documentation
Assist with presentation preparation for strategic planning milestones for the company
Assist in report writing and review on various topics that support strategic planning
Various duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint
Effective communication skills, including written and oral English language competency
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and firm deadlines
Attention to detail
Proactive
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
