Job Posting: Warehouse Coordinator

Join our dynamic company as a Warehouse Coordinator/ Shipper Receiver and play a key role in supporting our long-term projects. We're looking for an organized and proactive individual to coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory in a fast-paced environment.

This position may require occasional travel to remote camps for extended periods, typically up to 2-3 weeks at a time. The successful candidate should be prepared for the possibility of working in these remote locations, where time away from home is necessary to support operational needs.

Location: Leduc, AB

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and organize warehouse parts and products to maintain efficient inventory management.
  • Process requisitions in a timely manner, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and shared with relevant parties.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage internal and external rentals, ensuring availability upon request and timely returns.
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly reports, including damages, returns, and currently rented items.
  • Track rental items effectively and maintain a record of requisitions for rental/internal kits that require restocking.
  • Oversee the sign-in and sign-out process for rental and internal kits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, performing periodic recounts for accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders to ensure timely delivery of the correct items to designated sites.
  • Support the ordering of parts and maintain stock levels of essential drilling and high-demand items as identified by the warehouse manager.
  • Ensure that the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and meets operational standards.
  • Proactively communicate with team members to ensure the correct items and quantities are dispatched to the site.
  • Assist with following up on back orders and maintaining positive supplier relationships.
  • Respond promptly to urgent procurement needs, understanding the importance of timely delivery for critical operations.
  • Willingness to work occasional after-hours to collect and deliver essential parts on an emergency basis.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as NAV (Business Central), FS Cloud, Oracle, Epicor Kinetic, Plex Smart, Sage X3, or Infor M3 is highly advantageous.
  • Must be physically capable of repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs as an essential function of the job.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and task prioritization.
  • Previous experience in the drilling, mining, or construction industries is considered a valuable asset, though not required.
  • Forklift operation experience is an asset.
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 or higher Driver's License.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and respond to urgent procurement needs efficiently.

Rate:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule: Working schedule is Monday- Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with options for overtime.
