Job Description:

The successful candidate will be required to maintain safe and efficient parking lot operations while providing our guests with fast access to resort facilities. A high level of customer service is required. In addition to this, they will assist other mountain operations teams with the upkeep of the grounds, including mowing, garden work, hedge and tree trimming.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct traffic and assist in finding parking spots/ assist in reserved parking area, RV parking area
  • Attending to customer drop-off area; greeting and assisting/directing guests
  • Parking lot and lodge decks to be monitored; cleaned, swept and clear of garbage as needed throughout the day
  • Stations to be checked and stocked for maps, tissues, garbage
  • Parking lot attendant keeps an eye out for lights left on, keys locked in car, vehicle maintenance problems, assists guests in getting help
  • At end of day assist in vacating parking lots, checking lots for garbage, remove and put away necessary signage
  • Use of hand held and motorized tools and machinery

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's license (or international equivalent) with clean driving record (abstract/traffic history report must be provided before commencement of employment)
  • International driving license (obtained before arrival in Canada)
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Energetic and self -motivated

Driving Requirements: The successful candidate is strongly encouraged to have one of the following to be on the LLSA driving list:

  • An Alberta driver's license that has been held for more than three years or;
  • A driver's license issued by a Canadian province outside of Alberta with a driver's abstract proving three years driving experience and/or a 3 Year Claims Experience Letter provided by the applicant's insurance company, or;
  • An internationally-issued license with a 3 Year Claims Experience Letter provided by the applicant's insurance company
