We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our vibrant team and take our staff restaurant to the next level.

Job Duties Include:

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to create and update menus.
• Lead the kitchen in food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's standards, taste, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain on-going training and development of employees, conduct employee performance reviews and disciplinary action
• Ensure appropriate staff scheduling and monitor staffing levels in conjunction with determined budgets and forecasting
• Assist in inventory control and ordering supplies. Ensure the kitchen is stocked with ingredients, and minimize food waste.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards. Ensure that all kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned

• Minimum of 7-8 years' experience in a culinary leadership role
• Valid trade qualifications required
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift
