The Craft Talent Coordinator is a key player in building that success, acting as a strategic partner in talent acquisition. This role combines the end-to-end responsibilities of recruitment and coordination, ensuring exceptional candidate and client experiences. By leveraging expertise in workforce planning, sourcing, and onboarding, the Craft Coordinator Specialist directly contributes to maintaining Brock's high-performance culture.
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime may be required during peak periods) Reporting To: Talent Acquisition Manager
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top craft talent, using job boards, social media, and networking.
Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Build a pipeline of qualified candidates in anticipation of hiring needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, delivering a seamless and engaging experience.
Recruitment Operations
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and tailor recruitment plans accordingly.
Ensure job postings and descriptions are optimized for clarity, inclusivity, and alignment with organizational goals.
Coordinate candidate screening, site-specific onboarding schedules, and pre-employment screening processes.
Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Documentation & Communication
Build and maintain accurate employee files, ensuring proper documentation for onboarding, contracts, and compliance.
Administratively manage employee documentation, including tracking certifications and training records.
Communicate effectively with candidates, employees, and hiring managers through both written and oral channels.
Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, offer letters, and other essential documents.
Process & Compliance
Maintain compliance with organizational policies and employment laws throughout the recruitment process.
Recommend and implement tools and technologies to enhance recruitment efficiency.
Document and standardize best practices for talent acquisition.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a preference for experience in craft or construction industries.
Education: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Advanced proficiency in ATS, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital sourcing platforms such as Indeed, the applicant manager, and Ceridian Dayforce.
Analytical mindset to measure recruitment effectiveness and identify trends.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing business needs.
