Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Box Office, this position is responsible for seating customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Greets and directs customers to assigned seating area
  • Responds to inquiries; escalates issues as required
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
  • Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Provides an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

  • Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service
  • Ability to successfully clear a criminal record check

Work Environment Considerations

  • Theatre environment, standing or walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
