Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. are looking to fill the full-time winter seasonal Griz Kids Centre Assistant Supervisor position at Fernie Alpine Resort. The Griz Kids Centre offers combined indoor play and lesson packages for kids aged 3-5. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Snow School, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player with strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced mountain environment. Experience working in childcare, kids programs, and the snow sports industry is an asset. You Will:

• Be responsible for the efficient daily operation of the Griz Kids Centre and its programs in conjunction with the Griz Kids Centre Supervisor on alternate schedules
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards. In conjunction with the supervisor.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns from parents or staff.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports.
• Provide indoor supervision of kids, leading kids through drawing and playtime.
• Play and engage with kids during indoor time.
• Initiate corrective and disciplinary action as necessary with support from the Griz Kids Supervisor

You Have:

• Completed the BC 20-Hour Responsible Adult Course
• Valid Emergency First aid for children course
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
