Hotel Housekeeping (Starting Asap)

We are looking to fill the position of Hotel Housekeeping at Fernie Alpine Resort. Our guest walks into their clean room, takes a deep breath, and immediately relaxes. You are the heart of the hotel, giving the gift of a place our guests dream to be. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be physically capable, and have excellent organizational and time management skills. You Will:

• Provide room attendant duties for two resort hotels
• Provide laundry service support as required
• Provide janitorial duties for main lodge areas as required
• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms including all linen changes, interior windows, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
• Meet guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
• Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
• Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program

You Have:

• Past experience, this is an asset but not required, we will train!
• The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
• The ability to be reliable and responsible
• The ability to bend, lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
