Retail Team Lead

You will:

• Assist the Retail & Rental Manager with training and coaching a successful and enthusiastic team of employees.
• Perform monthly inventory counts and provide reporting to the Retail Manager.
• Demonstrate a commitment to exceeding guest expectations on a daily basis.
• Perform all cash handling duties (opening, cash balancing, coin orders and closing).
• Merchandise the department displays, ensuring that the most common products are easily accessible for replenishment and customer accessibility.
• Work closely with the Retail & Rental Manager to discuss planning, sales promotions and advertising campaigns.
• Ensure effective inter-departmental communication across the resort.
• Assist with employee performance reviews and any disciplinary discussions.
• Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist the Retail & Rental Manager with any additional duties as assigned.

You:

• Have previous retail supervisory experience.
• Have inventory management experience.
• Have extensive guest service experience, and the ability to exceed working with a diverse range of people.
• Have previous cash handling experience (opening, cash balancing, coin orders and closing).
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Point of Sale (POS) applications.
• Have an engaging and outgoing personality.
• Have a passion and enthusiasm for mountain culture and the resort environment.
• Are able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
