Job Description:

As part of the Big White Bellmen/Driver team, you are responsible for driving guests to their destination around the resort, providing guest assistance, performing light maintenance duties and assisting the front desk and housekeeping departments.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Complete season start-up and shutdown checklists
• Drive a shuttle van around the resort
• Perform a daily vehicle safety check
• Keep the shuttle van clean and presentable at all times
• Develop a good understanding of village layout and be able to give directions to all units in rental pool
• Be able to supply the guest with all information that they need to enjoy their stay
• Ensure all luggage is correctly labelled and stored
• Ensure the bellman room is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times
• Be able to troubleshoot guest issues
• Assist the Front Desk as required
• Understand how everything operates in a guest room
• Assist Housekeeping and Laundry
• Fulfill tasks in a time sensitive manner
• Follow a daily checklist
• Follow all Health & Safety protocols/procedures, including chemical use
• Any other reasonable requests made by a Central Reservations Manager

Job Specifications

• Must have full-privileged BC driving license (no L's, N's or P's) or be willing to obtain one
• Must have had a driving license for 3 years with a clean driving record
• Full-time - working up to 40 hours per week
• Start date mid-November
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Starting wage - $19.50 per hour
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects
