Position: Resort Services Supervisor

Reports to: Resort Activity Services Manager and Resort Ticket Services Manager

Employment: Full-Time, Seasonal

Compensation: $20.00/hour, guaranteed 40 hours/week + overtime as needed

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the Resort Activity Services Manager and Resort Ticket Services Manager in coordinating aspects of the Resort Services Department including the Concierge team and Tickets team.

The Resort Services Supervisor must thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision, and quickly comprehend and act on changing priorities when necessary. They must demonstrate superior customer service, interpersonal communication and written communication skills.

Position Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven self-motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
  • Proven experience supervising a team
  • Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail
  • Work well within a diverse team environment
  • Flexible availability: including evenings, early mornings, weekends and statutory holidays

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily duties of Concierge and Tickets teams to ensure work is completed in an efficient manner
  • Assist the Concierge and Tickets team in handling guest complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner, bringing in the Resort Services Managers when/if required.
  • Assist Resort Services Managers with administrative tasks, including but not limited to invoices, inventory management/ordering and staff scheduling/assignment
  • Assist in the delivery of Special Events programming as organized by the Resort Activity Service Manager
  • Disseminate information to relevant teams as required by the Resort Activity Services Manager regarding activities and events
  • Communicate effectively with all departments regarding guest experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service at the Concierge and Tickets Desk as required
  • Provide Support /leadership to staff

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25lbs
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, squat, stoop and stretch to fulfill duties
  • Requires grasping, using tools, writing, standing, sitting, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions in needed
