Security Supervisor - City of Kelowna

Commissionaires BC is looking for a Security Supervisor to join our team working with the City of Kelowna on a temporary full-time basis (approximately 3 months)!

As a Security Supervisor with Commissionaires BC in Kelowna, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of City of Kelowna properties, facilities, and assets. This role involves patrolling assigned areas, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents to ensure a safe environment for employees, visitors, and the public.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Payrate: $28.50

Must Haves

• Must have 1-2 years' experience in a supervisor's role
• Valid Security License and AST Certificate
• Experience in scheduling
• Crisis intervention and management skills
• Ability to think quickly and multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions.

Your Nice-To-Haves:

• Conflict Resolution Skills
• Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
• Class 5 Driver's license and a clean drivers abstract
