Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Janitor. This is a season part time position, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleaning all areas of Kimberley Alpine Resort, cafeteria, restaurant, kitchen, admin offices, washrooms, ticket offices, pan abode etc..
  • Ensure all areas are locked when cleaning is completed
  • Responsible for cleaning washrooms, all floors and windows etc..
  • Responsible for garbage removal from with the buildings
  • Aid in the check of inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, pass the needs on to the Manager.
  • Record hours worked on time sheet and scan in and out for each shift
  • Check and know shift schedule
  • Adherence to RCR policies, procedures and Safety Management Program
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Must be dependable, self motivated, able to work under little or no supervision
  • Previous experience as a janitor an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with working with various chemicals
  • Knowledge capable in making miscellaneous repairs
  • Must be in good physical conditions
  • Must be capable of following instructions as laid out by the Management, whether it be in form of manuals, memos, or verbal instructions

  • Work flexible shifts, varying hours
  • Working holidays, weekends and evenings can be expected
