Job Summary:

We are looking to hire hard-working and efficient individuals to assist restaurant staff in providing quality customer service to our guests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Welcome guests to our venue
  • Greet and escort guests to table seating or bar area
  • Maintain a clean reception area
  • Assist in removing dirty tableware from dining tables and taking them to the kitchen to be washed
  • Assist in wiping down tables, chairs, and table setting
  • Assist servers by stocking wait stations with tableware, napkins, and condiments
  • Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the servers to the kitchen
  • Communicate with back of house staff efficiently and ensure orders are being prioritized properly
  • Perform clean-up duties; includes sweeping and vacuuming floors, wiping highchairs and booster seats.
  • Thank guests for dining with us as they depart

Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance

Working Conditions

Hours of Operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. Work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $17.40 per hour
