Description:

The Mountain Bike Instructors are the on-hill Mountain Bike ambassadors for Panorama Mountain Resort. They have a passion for biking which is infectious to those taking advantage of the service. They will instruct guests from ages 6 years and up and of all ability levels on the proper techniques of downhill mountain biking as well as instruction on safety techniques.

Essential Functions:

• Meet guests at the determined location.
• Ensure the guest has the proper equipment and bike for the lesson, and ticket for lift access.
• Gauge and assess all guests riding ability and ensure they are in the appropriate level lesson.
• Instruct guests in the proper techniques of mountain biking in a group or private environment.
• Ensure all safety requirements are met.
• Assist Mountain Outfitters if no lessons are booked.
• Must be animated and personable.
• Assist lift attendants with the loading and unloading of Mountain bikes as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

• Minimum level 1 Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association (PMBIA), or equivalent.
• Intermediate to Advanced Downhill Mountain Bike Ability.
• Physically fit.
• Experience coaching children and adults from ages 6 years and up.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
