Job Summary

Revelstoke Mountain Sports School seeks to recruit and retain experienced, attentive and enthusiastic employees to represent the Mountain Bike School as a certified instructor, to lead groups of all levels. Our focus is to provide our Guests with a memorable experience at RMR, in a fun and safe learning environment for all participants.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain a safe environment for all guests and staff
• Lead and teach a variety of Mountain Bike programs including groups and private lessons, clinics and camps
• Represent the resort in a positive, professional manner
• Develop and close sales opportunities, selling commissionable lessons
• Assist Mountain Sports School management and other departments, including off-mountain assignments

Required Qualifications and Abilities

• Eligible to work in Canada
• Provide proof of SIN # - can be physical card or documentation provided by Canadian Government
• PMBIA Level 2 Certification - and/or other recognized International Instructor Certification Organization
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to teach both children and adults, at the appropriate level.
• Passion for the mountains, guest service and the sport
• Bondable, with a criminal record check less than 3 months old

• Hourly Wage: Starting at $24.00 / Hour
