River Rock Casino Resort is currently looking for a Casual/on-call Team Lead in the F&B Department to work in Starbucks Outlet. Under the supervision of the Manager, F & B Outlet or the Shift Manager F&B Outlet this position is responsible for coordinating day- to-day activities of Food and Beverage Operation(s) on a shift basis while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

Duties and responsibilities for our next F&B Lead will include:


• Monitors outlet(s) operations on a shift basis and reports issues to F&B management
• Performs a server, or host/hostess role in a lead capacity
• Completes shift reports at the end of each shift
• Assists with month end inventories
• Works on special initiatives as delegated by F & B management
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:


• Minimum 1 year food and beverage experience with Supervisory experience being an asset
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Experience in POS system
• 1 year of Starbucks supervisory experience is required
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification
• Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
• A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
• Willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development

As we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, up to 40 hours a week. The scheduled hours of work will be based on operation and business needs.
