Position Scope
The Mechanical Engineer Co-op is responsible for providing mechanical engineering support at Carbon Engineering's Squamish facilities; working closely with the operations, major projects, and technology development teams. Example work includes piping design, material selection, insulation specification, support/frame design, and drawing development. The student will be exposed to software tools such as MathCAD, Python and Autodesk Inventor as well as industry specific design software.
Over the next 8 months, we will be executing an important and intensive project on the Squamish site and the student will be expected to be involved in all mechanical engineering aspects of project execution.
