As a Manager, Total Rewards (18 months), you will oversee the management and administration of high-quality, engaging compensation and benefits programs for Prospera. Through effective leadership and team motivation, the Manager, Total Rewards ensures the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and administration of all total rewards programs. This role is committed to driving employee engagement and fostering a high-performing culture by partnering with business leaders to monitor market conditions and revise compensation structures, benefits, incentives, and other related programs, policies, and procedures.

What you'll do:

  • Provides overall people leadership and direction through coaching, development, performance management and resource planning.

  • Manages comprehensive job analysis and evaluation process, ensuring Prospera jobs are compensated appropriately and equitably, complimenting the employee value proposition, and improving Prospera's ability to recruit, motivate and retain top talent.

  • Reviews, evaluates, redesign and manages the compensation programs by collaborating with Director, Total Rewards, to ensure programs are performance driven, market competitive, legally compliant, accurately administered and effectively communicated.

  • Engages and works with external vendors in design and development of targeted compensation strategies for Executive compensation as required.

  • Works with the HR Business Partners and People Leaders to identify compensation issues to improve, develop salary analysis and guides People Leaders on pay management actions & strategies

  • Oversees and provides guidance on all activities required as part of the annual compensation review process, including mid-year reviews and variable pay. Collaborates with HR on the communication and administration of the annual year-end performance review process

  • Participates in and conducts market data analysis to obtain the most and analysis to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment to our total rewards philosophy. Builds relationships with external resources to enable competitive research in a timely manner
  • Develops and delivers compensation training workshops and tools to enhance HR and People Leaders' compensation knowledge and understanding. Develops and maintains salary administration guidelines and total rewards policies and procedures to support employees and leaders.

What you bring:

  • 7-10 years previous experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS, finance
  • Previous experience of leading, coaching, and performance managing direct reports. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced level Excel skills including data management, financial modelling and macros, business analysis report writing, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including solid coaching and counseling capabilities with the ability to lead a team of professionals.

  • High degree of accuracy and capacity to work with detailed data; ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated competence in the following core areas: compensation, benefits, payroll management, job analysis and evaluation, reward, and recognition programs.

What We Offer:

  • Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting salary for this role is $115,000 to $128,000 based on the successful candidate's knowledge, experience and internal equity.
