We are committed to providing our Co-ops/Interns with a student experience that provides a supportive and engaging learning environment while developing skills and business acumen. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including our Corporate Speaker Series, Fireside Chats, Volunteer opportunities and Networking events.
Eligibility Note: To qualify for a student (Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled in their academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term with QuadReal. If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave QuadReal at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities.
Based in Vancouver, the Co-op/Intern, Community & Communications, will report to the Community Engagement Manager and Digital Communications Manager. The role will assist QuadReal's community program and internal and external communications initiatives. We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational and time management skills, ready to take initiative, make connections, and steward relationships.

What You Will Experience:
Assist with the development, administration and implementation of community programs, initiatives and events, including but not limited to strategic non-profit partnerships, donations programs and employee engagement programs
Support creation of communication materials and other documents related to corporate communications and community engagement
Contribute to the planning and organization of community and employee initiatives and events
Coordinate and support internal promotion of programs and volunteer opportunities
Support data collection and reporting on program performance statistics
Provide support and capture photography and video for select virtual and in-person events
Support creation of communications materials and content for QuadReal's intranet, social media channels and corporate website
Assist with monitoring and updating digital community and communications platforms as required
Provide administrative support to the Communications team
Perform other related duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
Currently enrolled in an academic program in a related field
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and competent in building and handling data sets
Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages
Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency in graphic design and/or video editing is an asset
Previous experience working or volunteering with a charitable, social enterprise, ESG/CSR, community development or impact sector is an asset.
