Reports to: Senior Manager, Fan Experience & Event Operations

Term: Till April 30, 2025

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Top Prospects internship program is designed to give university students in their final year of study or recent university graduates an immersive, look at what it is like to work in the professional sports industry while gaining valuable hands-on experience. All internships are onsite at our office, right next to Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver.

The Event Services intern will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of small events at Rogers Arena. This includes preparing all required event documentation, reviewing all event reports, and following up on action items. They will also have the opportunity to take on special projects and shadow our Event Managers on planning and managing large scale events like Canucks games and concerts. This intern will be required to work event nights and weekends as needed.

YOU HAVE:

  • Current university student in their final year of study or recent university graduate in a related field of study
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism in presentation, conduct, and reliability
  • Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile
  • Eager to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
  • All internships are in-person at our offices at Rogers Arena
