What you’ll do

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Planning and Analytics Specialist

Location: Vancouver, BC

Expected Start Date: 6 January 2025

Contract Duration: 8 months

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

As an intern in SAP's Global Center of Excellence for Planning and Analysis, you will contribute to high-impact projects that influence key strategic decisions. Your work will involve:

  • Developing and enhancing advanced SAP Analytics Cloud Proof of Concepts that showcase the integration between various SAP applications for top-tier customers
  • Supporting the creation and delivery of workshop materials for clients and partners, where you'll play a key role in showcasing SAP’s innovative tools and capabilities
  • Building an asset portfolio, including custom widgets, widget add-ons, and integration scenarios using SAP Analytics Cloud REST APIs, to extend our product’s functionality
  • This role offers hands-on experience in delivering cutting-edge solutions and working closely with a team of experts across a range of technologies

  • Educational Requirements
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Position Requirements
    • Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python
    • Proficiency in data modeling and analytics
    • Comfortable delivering technical content in presentations and workshops
    • Creative problem-solving abilities and a willingness to explore unconventional approaches
    • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
    • Able to work independently with minimal supervision but confident enough to seek support when necessary
  • Preferred (not required)
    • Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or SAP Performance and Profitability Management

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 24-40 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
