DESCRIPTION
AbeBooks is seeking a creative and data-centric Marketing & Business Coordinator to help drive cross-collaborative projects and operational support.
The Marketing & Business Coordinator is responsible for supporting multiple functions across business teams, with a focus on maintenance of various paid awareness channels, creative writing support, as well as operation support for the team. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will work well independently, and be responsible for business team coordination, market research, project management, data analysis, and program administration.
Key job responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating top funnel (awareness) paid campaigns, and analyzing campaign performance metrics.
- Write compelling and creative copy for new articles in support of SAM and Marketing projects
- Support content strategy across multiple platforms
- Analyze market trends and compile competitive research
- Support project management for cross-functional team initiatives
- Maintain documentation of marketing processes and best practices
- Track and report on key metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ months of sales experience
- Advanced level user of Microsoft office suite, including Excel
- Proven ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced level user of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of SQL or database tools (Tableau, Redshift, etc.)
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Very detail oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing projects, including coordinating with other teams
- Experience as a technical writer, editor, content strategist, or related field
- Second language (Spanish, French, Italian, or German) is a plus

The base salary for this position ranges from $18.70/hr up to $31.20/hr. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
