Your Role

As the Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting employees by managing and administering our employee benefits.

Day to Day

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexibility spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, retirement, and wellness benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
  • Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
  • Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
  • Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical date relative to premiums, claims and costs.
  • Assist in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life, and retirement plans that benefit the company.
  • Support the Human Resources Manager in completing benefits reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Relevant experience in employee benefits administration is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Application Suite, and the ability to learn new software.
  • Must be available to work on-site.
