Working in a collaborative team-based environment, the Financial Reporting Assistant will support a variety of stakeholders in data analysis and the development new Power BI based tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather, extract and clean data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality.
Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Convert data-driven insights into practical business suggestions, assisting collaborators in comprehending and addressing key challenges and opportunities.
Build visually appealing and insightful data visualizations in Power BI to communicate sophisticated data analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by conducting regular data audits and performing validation checks.
Continuously seek and implement improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled as an accounting, finance, data science, or computer science student and planning to return to school fall 2025
Eager for exposure to real estate accounting processes and procedures
Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data querying.
Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
Detail oriented and able to effectively manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and initiative that lead to effective solutions
Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
