Essential Responsibilities:

•Set up, adjust, maintain and operate Cylindrical & Internal Grinders as well as other specialized or advanced tools in order to perform precision machining operations

•Repairing aeronautical products

•Performing close tolerance Grinding on a variety of special alloys and engineered coatings •Reading and interpreting blueprints and specification manuals to determine best machining operation •Perform precision measurements utilizing a variety of tools and instruments

•Work closely with various departments to support production deadlines and meet customer demands •Participation with all Health and Safety rules and regulations

•Handle confidential information on a regular basis professionally and ethically

•Proactively participate in continuous improvement and 6S activities, taking responsibility to maintain an organized and effective working environment

•Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards

•Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with fellow employees, management and customers •Other duties as assigned

Education, Skills & Experience:

•Minimum 1-year experience in precision machining •Solid understanding of machining practices

•Must be able to work to tight tolerances, be proficient with precision measurement and understand machine tools •Skilled in interpreting blueprints, drawings, standards and specifications

•Sound decision-making skills

•Basic Computer Skills required, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Other Requirements:

•Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to follow verbal and written instructions •Fluent in English (must be able to speak, read and write in English)

•Available for non-standard hours and possible shift work

•Able to stand for long periods of time, including bending and lifting •Able to lift up to 50lbs (lifting of material and products) •Willingness to work overtime when required

•Mature, responsible, career-minded, with a high performing work attitude

•A team player, committed to working in a quality environment, who can also work independently when required •Must be eligible to meet the requirements and security regulations of The Canadian Controlled Goods Program
