Minimum Qualifications

  • Working towards a post secondary education in Health and Safety or Environmental Studies
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Vehicle and valid drivers license

Day in the Life

The health, safety and environmental student intern will play an integral part of Miller's HSE Team. Responsibilities/tasks will cover both field and office functions, including supporting the HSE team in the implementation, sustainability, and training of industry best practices for health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on job sites. In addition, the role will include office functions by supporting a variety of programs including Miller's new HSE management information system, SDS management system, as well as assisting in the compiling of a variety of HSE documentation/reports (training packages, safe work practices, safe job procedures, incident/injury statistic reports, etc.), and more.
