Reporting to the Logistics Analyst, the summer student would receive an opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Cavendish Farms Supply Chain. This includes Planning, Logistics, Customer Service as well as Optimization.

This role offers great opportunity for visibility and career development. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a "Can-Do" attitude and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with process mapping
  • Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and failure investigation
  • Continuous improvement activities
  • Enhancement/Bug life-cycle management: idea, development, testing, deployment
  • Assist in daily operations as needed in the TMS (Transportation Management System)
  • Work cross functionally across departments to ensure projects are being prioritized and completed on time

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Technology / systems proficiency.
  • Office 365 proficiency.
  • Interest in Supply Chain.
