As a Contracts and Procurement Specialist on the Supply Management team, you will support procure to pay activities of goods and services as part of Irving Oil's Turnaround events. Your strong attention to detail, customer service approach, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced industry will guide your success in effectively managing the entire P2P (procure to pay) process with our contractors.

Your Responsibilities:
Manage contracts or any supplier relationships as assigned
Actively identify any savings opportunities to assist the team with their savings objectives
Work within established procure to pay processes
Work closely and communicate proactively with stakeholders
Learn legal concepts and how they relate to supply management
Execute on existing supply management contracts
Work within established approach to supplier relationship management
Work with suppliers to resolve any issues within the scope of the contract and / or purchase order
Persistence in looking for process efficiencies and / or risks and bring those to the attention of your team

Your Experience:
Post-secondary education in engineering, business, economics, or equivalent experience
Proficiency with MS Office, including demonstrated skills in Excel
Familiarity with Oracle, IQN, and SharePoint are assets but not required
Analyst experience or background is also considered an asset
