As an IT Change Management Coordinator, you will ensure that all IT change requests are implemented in a controlled manner. You will manage the execution of the IT Change Management process and ensure all IT change requests are efficiency enablers that improve delivery of service to internal and external customers. This will be achieved by managing and continually improving IT Change Management practices across the IT organization. Your responsibilities will encompass the delivery of new services, as well as the management and evolution of existing systems and applications.

**This role is a fixed term role with an expected duration of 12 - 15 months**

Your Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) weekly meetings and ensure the CAB has the information required to evaluate change requests
  • Identify opportunities and coordinate process improvements
  • Socialize and educate the IT Change Management process including proper utilization of consistent toolsets and templates
  • Facilitate stakeholder review sessions and ensure proper approvals are in place
  • Analyze change records to determine any trends
  • Escalation point for change related questions and issues
  • Facilitate conflict resolution or escalations with regards to IT Change Management
  • Continually communicate with stakeholders to ensure their needs are being met
  • Review and close change requests
  • With Process Owners, providing support for the development of the IT Change Management process, configuration management, and deployment management

Your Skills:

  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines / proven ability to meet hard deadlines
  • Good organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Change Management
  • ITIL certification is required
  • Experience utilizing IT Service Management tools, specifically ServiceNow
  • Lean Six Sigma is an asset
