The YMCA Southwestern New Brunswick is working hard to address the critical issues facing the region; the health crisis, population decline, youth outmigration and child poverty. At the Y, we are striving to build a diverse and inclusive community where each person is valued for the unique perspectives and contributions they bring.
The Y offers a diverse set of programs at 19 locations in the city and surrounding municipalities. We are a community of 450 employees and 500 volunteers. If you don't have a Y story yet - now is your opportunity to get involved. We invite you to come to see what the power of belonging can do for you, your career and your community.
The Opportunity
As a Youth Leader at the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick, you will help shape a welcoming and inclusive space for young people in our community. With your energy and commitment, you will be a role model and mentor, guiding youth to develop confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging. This casual role offers evening shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Field House, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts at the Regional Y. You will report directly to the Manager, Irving Oil Field House, joining a dynamic team dedicated to supporting youth and fostering community.
