Our St. John's office has an opening for a Site Representative to join their team on a contractual basis. The position would start May 2025 with an end date of December 2025.
Duties:
Communicate with RVA's Contract Administrator and the contractor's site representatives.
Set up and facilitate project meetings.
Prepare meeting notes and project memorandums.
Review and process contract extra work claims.
Prepare and process monthly progress estimates.
Liaise with clients, contractors and the public as required.
Undertake full time site inspection duties.
Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.
Qualifications:
Civil Tech diploma or an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience working with sewage treatment facilities, pumping stations, and/or infrastructure is a strong asset.
Must have a valid class G driver's license.
Must possess own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned worksite.
Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Familiar with the City of St. John's Specifications Book.
Familiar with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Municipal Water, Sewer and Roads Master Construction Specifications
