Job Summary & Key Responsibilities | HORT 2008: Residential Landscape Design FAFU - Winter 2025 Work Assignment: This Part-time Academic will teach Lectures and Labs for HORT2008 Residential Landscape Design for Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, China using online, synchronous delivery for the period of February 2025 - June 2025. Classes may be taught early in the morning or late in the evening. The course is a distance course and will require significant online delivery knowledge and familiarity with Brightspace. The Part-time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the online course, including lectures, labs, test preparation and online evaluation. The part-time academic is expected to work collaboratively with an Instructor in FAFU for lectures and labs. The position reports to the Chair of the Department, Dr. Gefu Wang-Pruski. |
Qualifications/Requirements of Position | Qualifications: At least one year experience in teaching in a postsecondary educational institution as well as excellent oral, written communication skills, collegiality and interpersonal skills. PhD in Landscape Horticulture, Landscape Architecture OR Masters in Landscape Horticulture or Landscape Architecture with two year experience OR an Instructor who has taught this course in a post-secondary institution for degree students in Landscape Horticulture. |
