Join the Office of the Auditor General of Nova Scotia, an independent and nonpartisan office of the House of Assembly. Our mandate, derived from the Auditor General Act, includes issuing opinions on government financial statements and conducting performance audits of public sector operations. Through this work, we help the House of Assembly hold the government accountable for managing public funds and contribute to a well-performing public sector. Under the guidance of senior auditors, you will assist in conducting financial audits, including:
As part of a collaborative audit team, you’ll work with provincial government organizations, adding value and gaining hands-on experience in financial auditing. Limited travel within Nova Scotia may be required.
