Our Halifax office is currently seeking a Manager, Student and Clerk Programs, to join the Professional Talent team.
Summary of responsibilities
Leads the law student and clerk program to include recruiting and onboarding, learning and development, performance feedback and reviews. Travel and working outside business hours are required at times.
Various talent management activities to include research, writing, event planning, scheduling, budget support, written and verbal communications, presentations, and human resource administrative duties.
Reports to and works with the Director of Professional Talent in leading the talent management program for the Associate lawyers.
Skills & Qualifications
3 years of experience in human resources with at least 2 years in a recruitment role.
An undergraduate degree, with a professional certification in human resources, or a combination of related education and experience.
Experience in recruitment, talent development, and administration excellence.
Familiarity with a professional services environment, a continuous learning mindset, and proficiency using MS Office and HRIS is desirable.
An excellent communicator and an inclusive leader who excels in coaching, mentoring, and developing professional talent.
