Job Summary & Key Responsibilities | OCCU 5112.03: Fieldwork 1 - Winter 2025 We are looking for up to eight part-time instructors (~ 40 hrs each/term). Under the guidance of the Course Professor, each Instructor (Tutor) will tutor and evaluate groups of students using problem and case-based learning in Occupational Therapy Skills Labs. Tutors and student teams will schedule their weekly virtual meetings independently at a mutually agreeable time. Case review, tutor meetings, marking and/or office hours may also be required. Instructors are required to attend virtual orientation sessions prior to the academic term (to be scheduled). As time permits, other duties may be required to assist with lab preparation and/or delivery. |
Qualifications/Requirements of Position | An entry-to-practice qualification in occupational therapy and current registration (in any province) as a licensed occupational therapist are required. A Master's degree is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills and scheduling flexibility. Technological access to MicrosoftTeams for videoconferencing and the ability to view video files is required. |
