Abatement Technician

What you will do

Under the supervision and direction of the Construction Manager, the Abatement Technician will perform remediation services at Giant Mine site while protecting the health and safety of workers and clients and other duties as requested. Coaching and training will be provided for this position.

What You Bring

• Good physical condition with ability to complete heavy lifting of 50 lbs and performing manual labour
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and trustworthy
• Standard First Aid w/CPR, AED (training provided)
• WHMIS (training provided)
• A safety-first mindset for safety protocols, wear PPE, and follow OHS regulations and federal guidelines (training provided)
• Ability to follow company processes, policies and procedures
• Previous experience in hazardous material handling, demolition or construction are considered assets
