Position Summary: The Snow Removal Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to safely and efficiently remove snow and ice from Resort property, parking lots, sidewalks, and other designated areas. This role ensures public safety and access during winter conditions, often requiring work during irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate snow removal equipment, such as plows, loaders, skid steers, salt spreaders, and other machinery

  • Clear snow and ice from roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas as directed.
  • Apply salt, sand, or de-icing materials to ensure safe surfaces.
  • Perform routine maintenance and pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment.
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snowfall or icy conditions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to protect self, equipment, and public property.


Qualifications:

  • Experience operating heavy machinery or snow removal equipment preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, during snow events

  • Physical ability to work outdoors in cold, extreme weather conditions for extended periods

  • Respond to special guest requests with a sense of urgency in a friendly and efficient manner.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
