What You'll Do

This role will see the successful candidate work closely within our Airport Road Distribution Center operations as they transition warehouse management systems from WMOS (Manhattan) to DCCS (in house). This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the required training for all employees is identified, tracked, and completed. There will also be documentation required in order to create and develop Standard Operation Procedures, and training materials.

The role will also consist of analysis of our current slotting and inventory tools, and creating an EUC that will assist the support teams in placing SKUs in the appropriate filling locations, as well identifying ways of better positioning our overstock.

  • Build tools/databases that will help the operation with slotting and inventory management
  • Document processes as we transition to a new warehouse management system
  • Determine the required training required for employees during the WMS transition and create a plan to have the training complete
  • Ad hoc lean analysis of warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement

What You Bring

  • Experience or coursework analyzing and visualizing data in Excel and MS Access or a relevant platform
  • Experience with process documentation
  • Interest or demonstrated project experience within supply chain
  • Workplace experience in a distribution center environment would be an asset but not required
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including experience managing and training teams is an asset
  • Currently undertaking a degree or program within Business Analytics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management
