Do you have experience in mechanical, electrical, civil, or architectural maintenance? If you answered yes, then this may be the job for you! The Facility Superintendent is accountable for ensuring mechanical, electrical, and civil/architectural maintenance activities are tracked, coordinated, and executed in a cost-effective and timely manner such that a hazard-free environment conducive to building occupants and visitors is readily available. The Facility Superintendent will act as a single point of contact, and work permit authorizer, and liaise with building occupants, tradespeople, contractors, and project staff for an assigned group of buildings. They will execute these duties within the boundaries of defined programs and process while meeting budget and schedule. They will ensure operation of all building mechanical, electrical, civil/architectural and support equipment is optimized for operational efficiency and reliability.

Education
Graduation from an Institute of Technology with a minimum of 5 years facility maintenance management experience supporting the execution of complex mechanical, electrical or architectural maintenance activities, or 10 years equivalent experience in facility maintenance management in an industrial environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Security Clearance Eligibility Required
Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
