Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
•Technical documentation preparation and maintenance
•Support to PB/PBA design projects
•Support to project lead
•MCAD Drawings and 3D modeling
•Component and system analysis
•Support to thermal, structural, reliability and durability analysis
•Test equipment design
•Technical interactions with customers and subcontractors
YOU MUST HAVE
•Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
•Must graduate before May 2027.
•This is a 16-month Co-Op from May 2025 – August 2026.
•The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
WE VALUE
•Knowledge of Mechanical Design, including thermal and structural analysis
•Familiarity with FEA tools
•Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
•Knowledge of 3D CAD systems, Creo / ProEngineer/Team Center preferred
•Experience with GD&T
•Understanding of mechanical part manufacturing techniques
•Understanding of PBA build processes
•Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
•Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes
•Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done
•Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree.
