Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Kitchener has an exciting new opportunity for a Production Control Co-op Student for the May 2025 to August 2025 term with the possibility of extension to May 2026 (12 months total). The Production Control Co-op Student will support the Production Control Team with all functions of the execution stages of the production plan. They will work closely with manufacturing, operations, shipping, stores personnel, and the Master Scheduler to identify and mitigate bottleneck resources and to ensure the effective use of resources.
By preparing and providing up-to-date shop order priorities to the work centers, the Production Control team helps minimize WIP inventory and supports on-time completion of components and customer deliverables. To avoid delays due to MRB activities, the Production Control team works with the manufacturing engineers and quality team to amend and split shop orders as required.
