Communications Student

Duration: May to August

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Communications and Public Relations, the Communications Student will support internal and external communications in line with our values to enhance our corporate brand, drive meaningful employee engagement and position Sofina as a great place to work. You will be an integral member of our small team, and your efforts will have a direct impact on our success. Key Responsibilities:

• Support editorial planning and lead content development (incl. graphics/visuals) and publishing for Sofina's employee intranet (SofinaConnect), TV screens in plant, LinkedIn and other communications materials.
• Ensure content is aligned with the organization's values and brand identity.
• Create/maintain communication templates, standards and protocols.
• Support planning and execution of special events including Learning Labs, Town Halls, etc.
• Assist in other projects as required.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Communications program.
• Strong understanding of digital tools (e.g., SharePoint, CMS, social media, basic graphic design/video editing).
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills for a variety of audiences.
• Able to create engaging, concise content with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and drive projects independently.
