HBS installs, integrates and maintains the systems that keep facilities safe, secure, comfortable, productive and energy efficient. You will work with critical building management, HVAC and security systems with the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities. In this role you will support our customers to use technology to improve productivity and increase the value of services provided to our many different customers.
We are seeking a Field Service Tech Install Intern
The primary focus is to provide commissioning and service support for Honeywell’s security system and Building Automation HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with Install technicians, subcontractors and customers to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of Honeywell Security and HVAC Systems.
• Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.
• Perform sensor verification and calibration.
• Publish commissioning reports for customers including Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.
• Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
• Escalation of any potential issues/delays related to scope/timeline and budget
• Ability to travel within Ontario(up to 10%)
YOU MUST HAVE
• Must be pursuing Advanced diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, and or Robotics.
• Full class G drivers license
• At least basic knowledge of controls and how programable logic controllers work and networking.
• Must graduate May 2026.
