Honeywell Building Technologies is seeking a Field Service Tech Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist our technical team.
•Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc. •Complete documentation of all work done, including all readings, offsets, etc. •Update Customer drawings/documentation with any configuration or model changes. •Ensure all assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks are completed in the time allotted and the month scheduled. • Diagnose and perform repairs in a time effective manner. •Keep abreast of changes and new developments in product and preventive maintenance techniques. •Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as required.
You must have: •High school diploma •Currently be enrolled in a technical program. •Must be eligible to work in Canada. •Must graduate May 2026 •Internship will be from May 2025 - August 2025 •This role will be onsite and will require traveling to customer locations. Key responsibilities: • Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication. • Escalation of any potential issues/delays related to scope/timeline and budget
We Value • Previous experience in BAS experience • Be able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems • Design/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired • Capable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports • Previous customer service experience • Proficient using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience.
