Minimum Qualifications

• Working towards an undergraduate degree in Journalism

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, SharePoint, MS Outlook

Day in the life

We are seeking a Journalism Student to join our team and apply their learned expertise in the field of journalism and communications to help lead a unique writing and publishing project. In this flexible, part-time role you will gain valuable, hands-on experience, using the knowledge and skills acquired in your education in journalism. You will play an integral role developing story ideas, gathering information, conducting first-person interviews, writing, editing, and publishing a book for a legacy organization.

This position offers a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a corporate environment contributing to a high-profile project, working with other professionals to create a published book - for which you would receive partial writing credit. We are seeking a creative self-starter to collaborate with Miller employees and alumni in developing engaging and informative content. The ideal candidate is a natural communicator with exceptional spoken and written communications skills who is comfortable building relationships with audiences at all levels.
