Title: Summer Student - Procurement

Location: Markham

Job Type: Hourly

Rate: CAD$22/hour

Duration: May 2025 - August 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to support business decision-making
  • Work with various analytics platforms and tools to manipulate data
  • Collaborate with team members to build Power BI dashboards to visualize datasets
  • Conduct quality control checks on data sources and visualizations
  • Support ad hoc analytics projects and reporting requests

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a 4th-year Analytics program or related field
  • Experience with Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX, and visualization techniques) preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL is an asset
  • Familiarity with data analysis techniques, including statistical methods and data visualization
  • Ability to work with large datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and integration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
